Outreach Youth Support Worker

Essential Criteria:

• Youth Work qualification in accordance with JNC requirements or equivalent  in a relevant professional discipline e.g. teaching, social work or be willing to work towards such a qualification.
• A minimum of 1 years’ experience in a Youth Work setting within the last 5 years.
• Experience in promoting the participation of young people.
• Experience of working with young people aged 13 plus.
• Knowledge of Priorities for Youth and Youth Work Curriculum.
•  Ability to design, deliver and evaluate programmes to young people.
• Ability to work with young people in a group work setting.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• As this is an Outreach Post applicants should hold a current full driving license and have access to a vehicle.
