Nursery Supervisor (After School)- Over the Rainbow Day Nursery

Salary: £8.16ph

Please note salary may be flexible depending on experience

Days and Hours of Work: Monday-Friday from 10am-6pm

Duties will include:

To work as part of the Key Worker team and lead the team for the daily needs of the children in the After School setting (P1to P7)

To ensure high standard of physical, emotional,social and intellectual care for the children

Awareness of Health & Safety

Organise, plan and implement activities in the After-School room

Complete administration tasks e.g. Planning,completion of records ,Child developmental records

Communication with Parents in a Professional Friendly manner

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Be aged 18 and over
• Have a degree in Early Childhood Studies, NVQ Level 5 in Childcare or NVQ Level 4 in Playwork
• GSCE Maths and English at grade C or above
• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in Afterschools settings or P1 to P7 age groups
• Excellent Interpersonal Skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desirable:

• Interest in Music, Sports, Arts and Crafts
