Locality Administrator – Drink Wise Age Well

Salary: £18,638 per annum

A consortium led by Addaction has been successful in its application to the Big Lottery Fund’s Rethink Good Health Programme.  This is a UK-wide programme that aims to influence and inform policy and practice in preventing alcohol misuse amongst older people, specifically those aged 50 and over.  The grant from the Big Lottery Fund is for £25 million over 7 years to manage a portfolio of projects.  The consortium will deliver a comprehensive programme of prevention, policy, resilience and intervention across 5 demonstration areas.  Addiction NI will lead the programme delivery in WHSCT area.

Addiction NI is looking to recruit a Locality Administrator for our WHSCT area to manage the day-to-day administration of the offices for the project team. The post holder will provide wide ranging administrative and secretarial support including minute taking, the management of financial systems, correspondence, e-mail, database maintenance, co-ordinating diaries and liaising with staff, partners and external bodies. He/she will also be responsible for the health and safety management of the office sites.

This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for the right individual with a varied skill set. The post holder will be responsible for collating and filing a high level of sensitive information including personnel and financial data.  The candidate must possess excellent interpersonal skills and be a team player
