JOB PURPOSE:
Support the implementation and integration of a new and existing business applications across the entire company.

MAIN DUTIES AND TASKS 

  • Supporting our ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Software
  • Producing management reports / manipulating data from our ERP system
  • Providing first point of contact for all new and existing ICT support issues
  • Accurate problem resolution with thorough and clear documentation
  • Maintaining all case / issue history within our helpdesk ticketing system
  • Direct responsibility for support and training to a diverse range of static and mobile end-users in an intensive and demanding environment
  • The effective determination and delivery of user requirements across all departments.
  • The efficient translation of user requirements into system requirements
  • Liaising with third party software providers to design changes and manage update requirements.
  • Application maintenance
  • The development and maintenance of structured analysis techniques, data modelling and reporting using crystal reporting.
  • Keep up to date with new features and functionality enhancements in the applications being supported
  • To assist the Information & Systems Manager as and when needed, including helpdesk support.
  • Installation and configuration PC’s and other IT equipment.
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues over the phone and in person
  • Technologies you will gain exposure to will include; Windows 2008 / 2012 Servers, Active Directory, MS Exchange, VMware, Veeam, Terminal Services, Windows 7 / 8 Desktops

  • Maintain up to date knowledge of industry developments.

Special Conditions

  • To carry out other duties and responsibilities commensurate with the post and the needs of the organisation in order to develop and maintain service delivery. 
  • The post requires the holder to have a clear disclosure check in accordance with the regulatory body Access NI/Garda Clearance.
  • You may be required at times to transfer (depending on business needs) to alternative departments/areas.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with business teams.

Desirable:

  • Educated to A Level standard/ NVQ Level 3 in Administration or equivalent
  • Full European driving licence.
  • A working knowledge of MS SQL Server and crystal reports
  • A minimum of 2 years progressive experience in the implementation and hands on support of complex business applications.
