The project will employ a Bi-lingual Development worker. The worker will carry out development work in South Belfast to increase community confidence in particularly marginalised communities. The worker will bring together both local and BME individual co

The project is targeting the areas that currently have the highest number of hate incidents and crimes. The project will work closely with the PSNI and DPCSP to identify larger issues within the community that could lead to potential hate incidents and crimes.

 

The project is a timebound project that aims to work in a multidisciplinary way to take a proactive approach to tackling race hate crime and the causes of race hate crime. The worker will work closely with the Bi-lingual Support workers who support victims of race hate crime and harassment.
