Family Worker

Permanent

16 hours per week

Monday to Saturday

£7,082 per annum

Bangor SureStart

Job Purpose

The role of the Family Worker is to work in partnership with Bangor Sure Start families to offer practical support to enable families to manage their daily lives with increased confidence and independence.

Essential Criteria

• Minimum of QCF Level 3 Child Care qualification Or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 years paid employment working with children or families
• 5 GCSE’s at grade C and above including English Language
• 6 months experience of child or family observations and reporting on work done
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and a sensitive approach to people in need
• Skills – e.g. communication, organisational, observational, report writing, file recording
• Clean drivers licence and access to transport
