Home-Start Lisburn/Colin supports families with young children who are facing challenging situations.
The scheme offers weekly volunteer support in the home, weekly Family Group Support, Courses and Outings.
The Family Support Co-ordinator will contribute to the effective day to day operation of the scheme.
They will undertake work as delegated by the senior member of staff to support the strategic management, development and future funding of the scheme.
Support for families - receive referrals and assess needs of families. Introduce families to appropriate support and review support at regular intervals.
Managing volunteers - recruiting, selecting and preparing volunteers. Providing support, supervision and training opportunities for experienced volunteers.
Working in partnership - ensuring appropriate liaison with referrers and other professionals, and networking within the local community.
This is a part time post - 12 hours per week.
Pay scale - NJC 22 - £19,817 pro rata
