Employment Officer - Ref EO/02/2016/L

This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team of specialist employment support staff. Our service aim is to guide and support clients to find and maintain employment.

The Employment Officer will be responsible for sourcing paid work opportunities and work placements leading to paid work, for clients of The Employment Service and supporting them to develop within their job. Working with employment and training staff the Employment Officer will be responsible for sourcing work roles appropriate to the individual needs of clients with learning disabilities and learning difficulties. The post holder will be expected to work as part of a team under the supervision of the Employment Service Coordinator.
