SureStart Edenballymore is a partnership working to provide local services enabling children aged 0-4 years to flourish at home and when they get to school. The project works with children and families in the Bogside & Brandywell, Creggan and Fountain
Early Years Assistant X 2 posts (16 hours per week, temporary until 31 March 2013, may be extended subject to funding). Essential Criteria: NVQ level 2 in Childcare, Learning & Development or equivalent and 1 years post qualifying experience in a childcare setting AND fluent Irish speaker. Salary £13,845 (pro rata)
Key Responsibilities:
- Work as a member of the Early Years Team in the implementation of early years services e.g. programme for 2/3 yr olds through Irish including parent participation & nursery play clubs programme & sessional crèche.
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of care and activities in an early years setting.
- Carry out allocated duties as directed by the Early Years Leader.
