HealthLink360 is a specialist health charity concerned with medical, psychological and spiritual support for those in mission, development work and ministry, whether ‘at home’ or overseas.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual from September 2016 whose primary responsibility will be to develop and manage HL360’s service provision in Ireland.
We are looking for a self-starter with vision, initiative and a broad range of development and management skills. The post holder will enjoy marketing, selling and networking and have a high level of team building and organisational skills. Resourcefulness, tact and confidentiality will be essential.
Main responsibilities include:
- Raising the profile of HL360 in Ireland
- Expanding HL360’s service provision to new clients e.g. mission agencies, NGO’s and church denominations
- Running the HL360 office on a day to day basis
- Coordinating/managing the HL360 Ireland team of doctors, counsellors, volunteers and staff
- Assisting with recruitment of new staff
- Fundraising from individuals, churches, and grant bodies
- Communicating with established client and supporter organisations e.g. mission agencies, churches and third sector organisations
- Representing HL360 at key events and conferences
- Working with the wider HL360 Management Team on strategy and development planning
An understanding of the concept of whole person care and local knowledge of the Mission, NGO or Third Sector scene in Ireland would be helpful. Familiarity with social media and the Microsoft suite of programmes is essential.
This role is part-time at 3 days per week. The salary offered will be up to £16,200 p.a. for 3 days per week. The post is initially funded for one year. It is envisaged that the post holder will expand service provision to enable the post to continue.
There is an occupational requirement for the post-holder to be a practising Christian.
