We can generate more compassion when we learn how to develop a greater sense of contentment and appreciation of ourselves and our life. The three main components of self-compassion are self-kindness, common humanity, and Mindfulness. This workshop will teach the Loving Kindness meditation practice in a safe nurturing environment. This practice develops the ability to connect to our heart, by bringing a gentle, kindly awareness to our emotional responses and those of others. We will also explore other ways of bringing loving kindness into our everyday life, by simple practices that develop positive emotions such as gratitude, generosity and compassion.
