Who is the Course for?

Approximately 30 million working days are lost each year due to manual handling injuries. This is a Course designed for those who wish to Instruct others and Assess Manual Handling Techniques.

Where is the Course held?

The Course is held in our offices at 51 Church Street, Portadown.

How much does the Course cost?

£460 including VAT per person. Special Offers are available for Group Bookings

What can I do once I complete the Course?

This Course will allow you to perform manual handling risk assessments as well as deliver in-house training courses on manual handling.

How is the Course delivered? What will I learn?

The Course is very interactive and you will be supplied with all materials. You will learn about the

back, common injuries, risk assessment and safe methods to be used as well as the Legislation involved.

How long does the Course take?

The Course takes around 24 hours in total. It is normally delivered over 4 days or 8 evenings. This is a generic Qualification suitable for all Workplaces.

Is there a test at the end of the Course? What is the pass rate?

Yes there are 3 elements to the assessment: 1 written examination, delivery of a short training session and undertaking a manual handling risk assessment.
