What is the Course?

Level 4 Award in Managing Health and Safety in the Workplace

As a Training Organisation, The Training and Recruitment House is accredited by TQUK/HABC/CIEH/IOSH. This course leads to certification in the CIEH Level 4 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace.

What can I do once I complete the Course?

This Course will allow you to Manage others to work safely and show your current or prospective Employer that you have an understanding of Health and Safety in the Workplace.

How long does the Course take?

The Course takes around 36 hours in total.  It is normally delivered over 5 days.

This course is delivered over 5 weeks and 1 week for the Assessments:

Fridays - January 13th, 20th, 27th

Fridays - February 3rd, 10th

Exam on Friday 17th February 2017

Is there a test at the end of the Course? 

Yes there are 2 parts: a controlled assignment and a 2 ½ hour written exam (5 short written answer questions)

The Course is held in our offices at 51 Church Street, Portadown.  We can also come to Your Premises

How is the Course delivered?  What will I learn?

The Course is very interactive and you will be supplied with all materials.  You will learn about accidents, common hazards, risk assessment and what practical things you can do to stay safe!

Who is the Course for?

This is an essential course for anyone Managing others at work.  Safety is vital for everyone and this course covers all of the key topic areas which could be encountered at work and what to do to stay safe.

We recommend that you have completed a Level 3 Course in Health and Safety and Risk Assessment prior to enrolling on this Course.
