As a Training Organisation, The Training and Recruitment House is accredited by HABC/CIEH/FAA. This course leads to certification in the HABC or CIEH Level 3 Award in Food Safety.
We will automatically enrol you on the CIEH examination unless requested otherwise.
Who is the Course for?
This is an essential course for anyone Supervising those working with food including cooking, preparing and serving. It previously was called “Intermediate Food Hygiene”.
Where is the Course held?
The Course is held in our offices at 51 Church Street, Portadown. We can also go to you if you wish!
How much does the Course cost?
£210 (VAT Included) per person. Special Offers are available for Group Bookings.
What can I do once I complete the Course?
This Course will allow you to apply for many positions in the food, hospitality and care sectors as well as being an important requirement for those already working.
How is the Course delivered? What will I learn?
The Course is very interactive and you will be supplied with all materials. You will learn about food poisoning, personal hygiene and how to keep food safe from delivery to service.
How long does the Course take?
The Course takes around 12 hours in total. It is normally delivered over 2 days or 4 evenings.
Is there a test at the end of the Course? What is thepass rate?
Yes there are 60 multiple choice questions. Currently the pass rate is 96% with 66% gaining Merit.
