As a Training Organisation, The Training and Recruitment House is accredited by TQUK/HABC/CIEH/IOSH.
This course leads to certification in the CIEH Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering/CIEH Level 2 Award in Food Safety for Manufacturing/CIEH Level 2 Award in Food Safety for Retail.
What can I do once I complete the Course?
This Course will allow you to apply for many positions in the food, hospitality and care sectors as well as being an important requirement for those already working.
How long does the Course take?
The Course takes around 6 hours in total. It is normally delivered over 1 day or 2 evenings.
This course is delivered over 2 consecutive Tuesdays - 6th and 13th June 2017

Is there a test at the end of the Course? What is the pass rate?
Yes there are 30 multiple choice questions.
We have a 98% pass rate at our Centre which is higher than the UK Average of 97%.
Where is the Course held?
The Course is held in our offices at 51 Church Street, Portadown. We can also come to Your Premises
How is the Course delivered? What will I learn?
The Course is very interactive and you will be supplied with all materials. You will learn about food poisoning, personal hygiene and how to keep food safe from delivery to service.

Who is the Course for?
This is an essential course for anyone working with food including cooking, preparing and serving. It previously was called “Basic Food Hygiene”.
You can complete this Course without having completed Level 1.
