If you have an interest in engaging service users in service design, or are working in the field of equality, you are invited to attend the Implementation Network of Ireland and Northern Ireland's networking event and panel discussion.

This event is aimed at policy makers, service planners and designers, programme managers and service delivery teams from Government departments and agencies, the community and voluntary sector, and organisations involved in championing equality for minority and marginalised groups, from both Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Our expert speakers will present a range of implementation approaches that enable equity, from across the island of Ireland, including the engagement of users in service design and findings from the implementation of equality strategies. We will discuss their experiences with implementation strategy and its effectiveness in both implementing policy and ensuring their deliverables are accessible to all.

The event will provide you with the opportunity to interact with expert speakers and network with others working in the field of implementation and equity.

Speakers include

  • Allison Metz, University of North Carolina, USA
  • Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration, and Youth
  • Una Wilson, The Equality Commission for Northern Ireland
  • Prof Anne McFarlane, University of Limerick
  • Centre for Effective Services
