ILM Level 5 Certificate (Leading to the Level 5 Diploma) in Coaching and Mentoring

Cost: £500 members and £700 non members

This qualification is for anyone who has responsibility or would like to develop knowledge and skills in coaching and mentoring in their workplace.

The course is also designed to develop learners to move into a development role or start a career as a freelance coach or mentor. 

This course is of benefit to both individuals and employers. Learners will discover the role and responsibilities of the workplace coach and mentor and be able to assess their own skills, attitudes and behaviour as a coach and mentor. The benefit for employers are that managers will be able to provide effective support for the development of others and improve their performance.

For the certificate learners must be able to plan, deliver and review at least 12 hours of coaching and mentoring in the workplace and for the diploma extended to one hundred hours with multiple clients.

22 OctoberUnderstanding the skills, principles and practice of effective management coaching and mentoring

4 NovemberContracting and constructive feedback, Record keeping, Practical use of a variety of coaching and mentoring models

20 NovemberCritical review of own strengths and weaknesses as a coach/mentor, Ethics and non-judgemental practice, Personal Development plans, Tutorial feedback

 

All 10.00am-4.00pm sessions will be held in NICVA, 61 Duncairn Gardens, Belfast, BT15 2GB. 

Online tutorials last approximately 1.5 hours and start at 11am.
