Identifying local community needs through research and developing effective surveys

This one day training session is designed to meet the specific needs of anyone having to undertake data collection for the purpose of a community audit or wider stakeholder analysis.
This session will give particular focus to data collection using online surveys and will include some practical exercises.
Training content:
- Identifing stakeholders
- Examining sources of internal and external data
- Examine how to engage stakeholders – methods of engagement including focus groups, interviews and surveys
- Structure and layout of questionnaires
- Examining different types of questions
- Building an online survey
- Running statistics and charts from an online survey
Who should attend?
Anyone who is about to undertake a community audit or stakeholder analysis and who has to conduct a survey as part of their job.
The training takes place on Tuesday, 13 September from 10am to 4pm in NICVA.
