Cost: Free - Registration Essential

This information session will provide an overview of EU funding opportunities available to human rights organisations (migration, access to justice, disability, rights of the child, anti-racism etc.)

During this session we will present the relevant EU funds and their priorities and provide information on the current and planned calls for proposals. We will also review the main requirements to submit applications under these funds, as well as provide a series of examples of successful applications.

Participants will also have the opportunity to share their experiences in applying for EU funding and discuss best practices when preparing grant applications.

 Information session outcomes:

 - Participants will have a comprehensive overview of relevant EU funds in the area of human rights.

- Participants will identify relevant calls for their work.

- Participants will be better aware of specific requirements to apply for EU funds.

The Information session will be moderated by Laurent Aldenhoff (Access Europe Programme Manager).

Prior to joining Access Europe, Laurent was the fundraising officer and project manager at the European Council on Refugees & Exiles in Brussels. He was in charge of developing, submitting and managing grant applications and tenders, mainly to the European Commission.
