Detail Data - Fermanagh Launch

This new open data programme which is funded by Big Lottery Fund NI will support voluntary and community organisations to understand and use open data effectively to create and enhance social, economic and environmental value.  Open data is defined as data that is available to everyone to access, use and share (Open Data Institute). This type of data has been referred to as the new raw material of the 21st century and it will be a powerful tool for the sector as it has the potential to help organisations do more of what they do, and to do it better. The project will provide a range of support including training, high impact data stories and an open data portal specifically tailored to our sector.

During this launch organisations will be guided on how to use the open data portal and they will have the opportunity to discuss potential stories relevant to the sector.
