Creative Business Development Opportunities for Local Artists - West Belfast Pop Up Shop

West Belfast Partnership Board is inviting local artists, craftspeople and creatives to attend creative business development classes and to display work in retail space provided by the West Belfast Social Enterprise Hub.
The workshops will begin on the 28th October from 10-12pm, and will provide valuable practical advice and guidance on setting up and running a creative business. The classes are open to anyone working in the Belfast area. This first session will be an introductory class about generating ideas, and will also gauge your own needs in developing your strategy.
The first class will take place in the West Belfast Partnership's new social enterprise space 'Siopa Sealadach' (the West Belfast Pop Up Shop) at 208 Falls Road. The Pop-Up Shop is a social enterprise hub which has been funded by the NI Executive through its Delivering Social Change Programme. The space is managed by Ortus Business Development Agency, and showcases any local artists and craftspeople who want an opportunity to display their work and market test their product.

- Developing a pricing strategy
- Financial planning
- Business book-keeping
- Legal issues – what you need to know when starting a business
