Bring Down The Wall - community workshops in refugee camps

Belfast Flags of Hope

Cost: Donations

Raymond Watson of the Belfast Flags of Hope, will visit the Saharwi refugee camps for 10 day to conduct Art in the Community workshops for the Saharwi refugees.

The biggest 'peace wall' in the world runs for 2,700km, dividing the Saharwi Arab Democratic Republic, it is surrounded by 4 million land mines.  The Saharwi are using art to draw attention to this 'wall', and have named this years art festival 'Bring Down the Wall'.  They hope to raise the issue of walls of division that exist in many countries.  Raymond Watson will conduct art workshops in the Saharwi refugee camps for 2 weeks from 1st to 11th, Nov. 2014.  Through this event he hopes to draw attention to the walls that still exist in our part of the world and places like Palestine.
