Action Cancer Corporate Golf Day

Each year Action Cancer hosts an annual golf day to raise vital funds to continue to provide their services in saving lives and supporting people affected my cancer.

Date: Wednesday 9th September 2015
Venue: Dufferin Course, Clandeboy

With up to 100 participants playing in a series of 4-balls, this event provides a wonderful opportunity to network with business contacts, enjoy the afternoon entertaining clients and raise money for Northern Ireland’s leading local cancer charity.

Enter a 4-ball:

For just £250 you and your team can enter a 4-ball and join our stableford golf competition. There will of course be opportunities to win prizes, including nearest pin and longest drive. The day will begin with bacon butties and goody bags on arrival, before a shotgun start at 1pm, followed by a 2 course meal and prize giving.

This will be a great opportunity to enjoy a fantastic day out, network with others and meet the staff of Action Cancer and support our services. We really look forward to seeing you there!

This year we aim to raise £5,000 through the generous support of local companies and individuals.

How this money could help:

Every £25 - Will cover the cost of an M.O.T. health check for males and females aged 16 plus.

Every £40 - Will cover the cost of a counselling session for anyone affected by a cancer diagnosis. 

Every £80 - Will cover the cost of a breast screening available to women aged 40-49 and 70 plus.

Action Cancer is an entirely local charity with all monies raised in Northern Ireland delivering life saving services across the country. We receive no government funding and continue to offer our services free only through the generous support of individuals and companies.
