Through our partnership with the Foodbank, we are able to offer emergency food to those experiencing hardship.

We can offer a one off emergency food parcel or weekly food parcel support during the lockdown period if you are struggling financially or have been told to shield by your GP. 

We can take referrals for our telephone support service

We can take orders for essential provisions, shop for these and deliver to the door

We can issue food-bank vouchers

We can signpost to other services i.e. Welfare/benefits, Pips Counselling Service

Art & craft packs for adults and children - these contain colour ins, crosswords, mindfulness activities, active brain activities, books, jigsaw.
Delivery of art packs, prescriptions, food from foodbank centres.
Online/ phone/ social media communication support.

Grace provides advice, guidance and training for women and their families living in North Belfast. We are currently operating a befriending service for older people who are isolated and vulnerable during the COVID-19 crisis. We have close links with local foodbank and advice services.

Through our dedicated team of over 200 trained volunteers, we offer :

Developed a community response plan to COVID 19 to provide immediate help and support for those most in need in the community. The plan includes the following elements:

It operates all year round, but especially at Christmas time (the busiest period). Over 200 well-packed hampers are delivered to people in our community during December. If you would like to help by donating any food items, they are listed weekly in our church bulletin.

We know that anyone can reach crisis point and we're here to help when that happens. Foodbanks provide a minimum of three days’ emergency food and support to people in crisis

Food for those struggling financially. We are running 5 sessions across 3 locations in Carnmoney Church, Abbotts Cross Presbyterian and Ballyclare Presbyterian - see newtownabbey.foodbank.org.uk for details.

We are an independent Food Bank providing Food Parcels to those who are in financial distress We can provide a weekly food parcel for those in financial distress to be collected at the Larder Food Bank We can provide a weekly delivery of a Food Parcel for those self isolating

- Older people experiencing isolation and social exclusion to whom we provide low level intervention care
