The Little Forget Me Nots Trust is hosting a unique event which helps kick start the beginning of Baby Loss Awareness week.   October is such a loud month for grieving parents and families.  Baby Loss Awareness Week falls from 9th-15th October, on one hand raising awareness is amazing but it can be too much for many and that is why we want to invite you along to join us as we meet as a community, to show you that you are not alone. We would like to invite you, a fellow biker and your biker buddies to our very special Little Remembrance Ride from Peatlands Park on Sunday 9th October beginning at 10am.  

Do you know if you work or volunteer in the community, you can use your experience to gain direct access to this part-time degree. Study 1 day per week over 4 years to gain a professionally accredited 3rd level qualification in Community Development. Early exit options available in years 2 and 3. Limited places still available.

The QA Level 1 Award in Fire Safety Awareness (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification designed for those who want to increase their awareness of fire safety in the workplace. Candidates will learn basic fire safety principles in order to ensure they are keeping themselves and others in the workplace safe at all times. They will also learn what to do in the event of an emergency and the simple measures that can be taken to control the risk of fires. With subjects covered in just half a day, this course is an ideal way to ensure that all employees have a good understanding of fire safety, whilst minimising disruption to your organisation’s day to day activity What's Covered? - Causes of fires in the workplace - The costs of fires in the workplace for employers, employees and society - Basic fire safety duties and responsibilities - Actions to be taken in the event of a fire - Principles of fire risk control • Key elements for effective fire risk management • The fire triangle and controlling fire risks • Fire risk control measures • Fire prevention measures - Safe use of portable fire-fighting equipment - Fire safety equipment checks All our training is currently run in line with Government advice and COVID-19 Secure.
