Millisle Youth Forum commenced in 2009 as an unincorporated association, renting out facilities within the village one night a week, to put on activities for the local young people. We progressed from that, rapidly finding that our young folk were telling us that they needed bigger and better facilities, especially "a place to call our own...", and we were successful in obtaining grant funding to enable us to lease, and renovate, an old petrol filling station at the northern end of the Main Street. We also provide a hire service if you need to take the equipment away for a period of time. Our service is open to EVERYONE who finds access to the city centre difficult, including people with disabilities, older people or those who, due to accident or illness, find themselves with temporary mobility difficulties.
