Women’s Aid Newry was founded in 1983 in response to the urgent need to provide vital support and accommodation to women and children victims experiencing domestic violence. Our work is underpinned by an ethos of self help, mutual respect and support.

The WELL Project aims to maintain well being and build resilience of women with mental health needs. Through a peer led approach, we provide support and activity programmes to women with long standing mental health needs within greater Belfast.

WOMEN’STEC is the largest quality provider of training for women in non-traditional skills in Northern Ireland.

Special Olympics Ulster provides year round sports training and competition to over 2,000 children and adults with an intellectual disability.

We work with vulnerable homeless people who are sleeping rough, including Refugees and Asylum Seekers.

Walking in Your Community is an initiative to encourage people throughout Northern Ireland to get walking in their local area. It offers introductory walk leader training and other support to deliver a successful walking programme for local communities.

The Falls Women’s Centre was established in 1982 in West Belfast by local women, to improve the quality of life for women and their families living in areas of extreme deprivation and most affected by the conflict.
