Human Health Project‘s (HHP) foundation is built upon peer-to-peer health information, education, and support. Through our programs, our objective is to empower individuals locally and globally to manage their health. HHP was founded in 2002 by Dr. Phil Harrington who had spent three years trying to find a diagnosis which sparked the idea for HHP. Today we are made up of a small core staff with 80+ volunteers, 30+ board members and advisors, spread around the world.

Learning Disability Pride is Northern Ireland's flagship event celebrating people with a learning disability. First held in Carrickfergus in Spring 2017, this year's event is set to be even bigger and better, and will take place on Saturday 22 June in Carrickfergus. Learning Disability Pride will start with a Carnival Parade to Carrickfergus Castle Car Park where there will be a festival atmosphere with live music, dancing, workshops, arts and crafts , family friendly entertainment and accessible activities.

Dementia Friendly East Belfast is a voluntary campaign to make East Belfast a friendlier place for people living with dementia, their families and friends, and older people. The campaign includes groups such as the Alzheimer’s Society, Dementia NI, businesses, church groups and people living with dementia.
