Through its network of over 10,000 volunteers and 800 staff, it is strongly committed to working for social justice and advocates the creation of a more just and caring society. There are 8 Regions across the Island of Ireland and in Northern Ireland; this Region has 182 local conferences (groups) and 1,800 volunteers (members).

Sólás is a Charity dedicated to supporting children and young people with additional needs. It is based in South Belfast and has a very strong volunteering ethos. Founded in 2009, it provides a range of educational and social programmes for children and young people with additional needs and/or Autism.

The Falls Women’s Centre was established in 1982 in West Belfast by local women, to improve the quality of life for women and their families living in areas of extreme deprivation and most affected by the conflict.

The Women's Centre is a feminist community education initiative. We provide a broad range of education and training, employability and back to work programmes. . The Centre has an on site creche to provide access for women who have babies in the 8wks - 4

The Rainbow Project is a health organisation that works to improve the physical, mental & emotional health and well-being of lesbian, gay, bisexual and/or transgender people in Northern Ireland.

The Welcome Organisation delivers a range of support services to people who are homeless or vulnerable and at risk of homelessness - services include a Drop-in Centre, Day and Night Street Outreach services and Crisis accommodation for vulnerable females.

FWIN is an information network for community based women’s centres, group’s, individuals and organisations. FWIN works closely with local women’s organisations and develops relationships with women’s organisations regionally, nationally.

Third Age demonstrates the value of older people remaining engaged and contributing in their own community for as long as possible through a variety of local and national programmes.
