Shopmobility Belfast is a charity, that can provide a mobility scooter or wheelchair free of charge between 10am and 4pm to help people get around the city centre, shopping centres and hospitals. We also provide a hire service if you need to take the equipment away for a period of time. Our service is open to EVERYONE who finds access to the city centre difficult, including people with disabilities, older people or those who, due to accident or illness, find themselves with temporary mobility difficulties. Lagan Dragons Dragon Boat Club is N Ireland’s first ever breast cancer survivors' Dragon Boat club. Formed in 2015, the club is based at Bryson LaganSports alongside the river Lagan, in the centre of Belfast. Lagan Dragons is primarily made up of breast cancer survivors aged from early 30s to mid-60s who live as far away as Newry and Ballymena, but is an inclusive club and open to all. Family members and friends of survivors as well as healthcare professionals are also amongst our numbers.
