Scotch Street Youth & Community Centre (SSYCC) was formed in 2008 to serve the emerging needs of children and young people from the Scotch Street area and beyond. SSYCC was set up and continues to be, an inclusive club, welcoming all children, young people and community members, regardless of background, into our centre. GLEN PARENT YOUTH GROUP WAS FOUNDED IN 1985 TO ADDRESS INCREASING PROBLEMS ASSOCIATED WITH ANTI COMMUNITY BEHAVIOUR IN THE LENADOON AREA. FROM INITIALLY WORKING AS VOLUNTEERS THE GROUP NOW DELIVER SERVICES / ACTIVITIES OVER 60 HRS A WEEK.
