Donaghmore District Community Association (DDCA) was formed at the beginning of 2006, and is a combination of various elements of our local community who have all come together to strive towards building a more sustainable future for all

Anna Clarke is Director of Prospect Community, an independent community development learning consultancy based in Mid Ulster, working across the island of Ireland and further afield. Anna uses a collaborative approach to work with communities, CVSE organisations, and statutory sector agencies to design, deliver and measure the impact of programmes and services that contribute to informing and improving community development practice and supporting social change.

Women’s Aid Newry was founded in 1983 in response to the urgent need to provide vital support and accommodation to women and children victims experiencing domestic violence. Our work is underpinned by an ethos of self help, mutual respect and support.

We are a group of carers who have decided to set up a cross community group in Belleek which will cater for all carers young and old, male and female within the Belleek/ Ballyshannon/ Bundoran area who can meet up once a month in a relaxed fun atmosphere.

Ardoyne Youth Club is a registered charity and has been delivering youth provision within the Ardoyne area of North Belfast for nearly 50 years. As an organisation we are very much aware of our role within the community, offering targeted youth provision.

Camphill Community Holywood was established in 1997. It is a small life sharing community in the centre of Holywood Town. It consists of a residential unit and a Café/Bakery and shop.

Extern Works is an organisation that works with homeless people, refugees and other disadvantaged groups in Northern Ireland and provides education and training to help individuals reach their full potential.

Disability Sport NI is the main charity in Northern Ireland working with children, young people and adults with a disability who would like to get involved and take part in recreational and performance sport and physical recreation.

Counselling All Nations Services (CANS) was established in response to the current gap identified in culturally specific counselling service provision for people from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities resident in Northern Ireland.

Abbeyfield Belfast provides supported retirement living for older people in 4 houses across South and East Belfast. The Abbeyfield Belfast model is to provide quality accommodation for older people, combined with a comprehensive support service that not only encourages independent living in later life but also encourages companionship and links to the local community.

ABBEY SureStart provides services for parents and children aged 0-4, in the following wards: Abbey,Cloughfern, Coole, Dunanney, Part of Monkstown, Valley, Whitehouse & Glenville.

EMBRACE NI is a group of Christians from different denominations working together to promote a positive response to people who are seeking asylum, refugees, migrant workers and people from minority-ethnic backgrounds living in Northern Ireland.

Skyzdalimit Omagh is a cross-community performing arts charity for people with a learning/physical disability, sensory/visual impairment and non-disabled peers

Rosario Youth Centre is a full time voluntary youth centre which provides a wide and varied range of social and educational activities and programmes for those aged 6-20.

The Northern Ireland Sports Forum is the representative body for the Governing Bodies of Sport in Northern Ireland.

Raysfriends is a microboard set up with the sole intention of enabling Ray to fulfill all his aspirations in his home, social and work life. A Microboard is a non profit making organisation. Raysfriends consists of a few family members and friends.

Special Olympics Ulster provides year round sports training and competition to over 2,000 children and adults with an intellectual disability.

We work with vulnerable homeless people who are sleeping rough, including Refugees and Asylum Seekers.
