The Connected Community Care service is an initiative developed by the Belfast Integrated Care Partnerships to connect people to local health and wellbeing support services to help them keep well. As a citywide social prescribing service, Connected Community Care work in partnership with statutory, voluntary and community organisations to help connect those at risk of chronic conditions, social isolation, dementia and a cancer diagnosis to support services within their local community.

Learning Disability Pride is Northern Ireland's flagship event celebrating people with a learning disability. First held in Carrickfergus in Spring 2017, this year's event is set to be even bigger and better, and will take place on Saturday 22 June in Carrickfergus. Learning Disability Pride will start with a Carnival Parade to Carrickfergus Castle Car Park where there will be a festival atmosphere with live music, dancing, workshops, arts and crafts , family friendly entertainment and accessible activities.
