The QA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) qualification is specifically designed for individuals who wish to act as a first aider in their workplace. Successful candidates will learn how to manage a range of injuries and illnesses that could occur at work and will be equipped with the essential skills needed to give emergency first aid. What’s more, as a regulated qualification, employers can book this course for their employees and rest assured that they have fulfilled their legal responsibilities for providing quality first aid training, without having to undertake any lengthy due diligence checks. With our Blended Learning Approach leaners will undertake the theory elements of this qualification on our online learning centre before attending a 1-day face to face session to complete the practical elements of the training. All assessments associated with the qualification must take place face to face in the classroom environment. This includes all QA practical and multiple-choice question theory assessments.

The QA Level 1 Award in Fire Safety Awareness (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification designed for those who want to increase their awareness of fire safety in the workplace. Candidates will learn basic fire safety principles in order to ensure they are keeping themselves and others in the workplace safe at all times. They will also learn what to do in the event of an emergency and the simple measures that can be taken to control the risk of fires. Would you know what to do if you saw a child in need of first aid? Having a good understanding of emergency paediatric first aid is incredibly important for the safety of children and it could mean the difference between life and death. The QA Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid (RQF) qualification has been designed in-line with the current Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements and is ideal for anyone who cares for infants and children, such as children's and youth workers, parents, guardians, grandparents or those who have an involvement with infants and children and want to learn key paediatric first aid skills. Successful candidates will learn the roles and responsibilities of the emergency paediatric first aider and will be equipped with the skills needed to deal with a range of paediatric first aid situations, such as performing CPR and controlling external bleeding.
