A New Year & New Opportunities. LiveNet launches OCN NI accredited course.
After years of delivering a diverse and popular series of workshops across Northern Ireland, Mencap's LiveNet project has developed a new course which has been accredited by the Open College Network for Northern Ireland (OCN NI).
The new Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and Leisure Activities course is designed to help people with a learning disability learn about ICT, get out and about in the community and be healthier.
The course, which has already run in a pilot format last year, is delivered by LiveNet’s experienced project officers in a friendly and informal learning environment and consists of five workshops:
- Using the Internet
- Using Email
- Digital Photograph Processing
- Word Processing
- Getting Out and About in the Community
