The 'Steps to Funding' programme is offering free funding focused workshops.  These short sessions will focus on the elements of successful fundraising, including possible funders for your projects, a review of case studies of previously funded projects and the chance to meet a funder. Workshops are aimed at older people's groups/groups working with older people.  Contact: EJ Havlin ([email protected]) W: www.ageni.org/stepstofunding

The 'Steps to Funding' introduction to funding workshops contains three short, stand-alone workshop sessions:

  • Session 2: Sources of Funding - This session considers who to approach for funding and provide the opportunity to meet a Funding representative and talk about their expectations from projects applying for funding -  Belfast 19th June

  • Session 3: Understanding Applications- This session aims to demystify the application process by looking at application & assessment processes.  Case studies from actual applications & consideration of why applications fail. (includes case study reviews) -  Belfast 26th June
