Age NI providing opportunities for Age Sector groups to talk to & hear from the Charity Commission for N.Ireland in 2015

It is compulsory for charities operating in N.Ireland to apply for Charity Registration. The Charity Commission for N.Ireland and Age NI are hosting Age Sector information sessions across N.Ireland in 2015. You are welcome to attend one of these events

There are many reasons to complete your registration with the Charity Commission for N.Ireland to be recognised as a charity, including legal responsiblility.  However, many groups are finding the process unclear and while some have been utilising support of recognised 'Helper' groups (www.charitycommissionni.org.uk/manage-your-charity/registration-support/helper-groups/), some groups wish to talk through the process before proceeding.  To meet this need for infomation, Age NI & the Charity Commission for N.Ireland, are hosting information sessions across N.Ireland in 2015:

  • Lisburn 5th February
  • Irvinestown 26th March
  • Ballymena 28th May
  • Derry 24th September

To attend any of these sessions please contact [email protected] or for general information on registration contact the Charity Commission for N.Ireland www.charitycommissionni.org.uk/
