Youth Participation and Advocacy Worker

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience of supporting children and young people to engage in participation and youth advocacy work, experience of designing and facilitating workshops and focus groups with young people and using social media platforms to engage young people. They will have a knowledge of children’s rights issues and be able to motivate young people and to work on their own initiative. They will have excellent planning, time management and organisational skills and good written and verbal communication skills.  The successful candidate will have a commitment to children’s rights including children’s participation.
