Springboard has been operating 25 years+ creating/delivering programmes that build good relations/diversity, personal development and citizenship for young people. We are seeking individuals to apply for our Youth Development Worker post.

Springboard invites applications for the post of Youth Development Worker £25951 (Full time 37.5 hours)

We are seeking a Youth Development Worker for our Journeys programme, funded by Peace IV.  If successful, the Youth Development Worker will have primary responsibility for implementing and supporting young people in groupwork and on a one to one basis, within the areas of good relations/diversity, personal development and citizenship.  They will be motivated, self-starters and share Springboard's core values and work as part of a team.  Key criteria includes:

- Community Youth Work degree (or in a related field) or working towards Community Youth Work degree (or in a related field) with minimum of 3 years experience of working with young people within 16-24 age range OR Level 3 qualification in a relevant field eg youthwork and minimum of 5 years experience of working with young people within 16-24 age range

- Experience of recruitment and engagement of young people onto programmes

- Experience in facilitation of good relations/personal and social education/citizenship development

- Experience of participant recording and caseload management
