Solas' Youth Club Programme is looking for volunteers to support a group of 11-16 year old young people diagnosed with ASD/Asperger's, on 1 or more of the following evenings: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays or Fridays 7-9pm.

Solas' Youth Club Programme currently runs on Tuesday and Friday evenings (usually between 7 and 9pm), and the sessions aim to offer young people with ASD/Asperger's opportunities for social and personal development. In 2018 this is being extended to run Wednesday and Thursday evenings also. The groups have been involved with many different actvities, such as trampolining, swimming, music workshops, and residentials. We are looking for passionate and energetic volunteers to build and maintain positive relationships with the young people, encourage participartion during activities, and promote good behaviour and positive decision making. If you are interested in developing your skills working with young people, and feel you can make a positive contribution to both the staff team and young people's lives, please get in touch with the Youth Programme Coordinator, Luke Moreland.

Volunteering with us is an excellent opportunity to build your skills, improve your CV and gain hands-on experience within this field. You may also qualify for the Degree Plus volunteering award.
