Young Carers Support Worker- Killinchy/ Crossgar

Crossroads are recruiting for a Young Carers Support Worker to collect Young Carers (young persons aged between 5yrs – 18yrs) from their homes and take them to arranged social outings, to return the young carer’s home after.

The salary for this role is £8.21 per hour 

Hours of work:  3 hours per month. 

Activities will be centred in your local area with reasonable training involved. This post will cover the Killinchy/ Crossgar area.

Training/Qualifications/Experience: 

- 18+ due to working with children. 

- Full driving licence and access to personal transport with business use insurance cover.

- Willingness to undertake an Access NI enhanced disclosure check and attend Child Protection training.

- Applicants must reside in the area advertised.
