Volunteer Role Tile: Wellbeing Champion
Responsible to: Volunteer Co-ordinator
Expected Commitment: A minimum of 1 hour per month to several hours per week, worked remotely and at your discretion; flexible day/time
Location: 36 Hamilton Road, Bangor BT20 4LE

Do you have an hour or two free time a week?
Maybe you could be one of our Community Wellbeing Champions for Kilcooley and Rathgill?
All training will be provided.
Some of the things we would love our champions to get involved with include:
- Working within your community to find out what is needed
- Champion mental health and wellbeing within your community
- Give practical help to your neighbours and others living in your area, befriending and helping them to access the help they need
- Attend drop-in sessions in the community
- Facilitate meetings and support for local residents with mental health professionals
- Meeting other stakeholders to share the great things going on in your community
- Attending events to represent uHub and My uHub
You will be fully trained and supported to carry out this role, with training in mental health and wellbeing. You'll work alongside My uHub and other organisations to deliver the very best for you and your whole community. This is also a great opportunity to enhance your CV with training and experience.
