Weekend Support Workers For Homeless Drop In (Day Shift and Evening Shift)

The Organisation’s success is based on a pragmatic person-centered approach, respecting individual choice and having honest conversations, which ensures harm reduction and improved life chances for some of societies most marginalised citizens.   Services operate 365 days per year, 19 hours every day and deliver over 25,000 interventions every year to over 1000 vulnerable people.

Working in a fast paced and challenging environment this position requires high energy staff with a non-judgemental and flexible disposition. It is important that staff can support the Welcome Organisations ethos of delivering very low threshold services setting the minimum barriers to service entry.  These roles are challenging but very rewarding, with no two days ever being the same we can assure that as an employee you will never be bored.

We are looking for one weekend day shift support worker and one evening shift support worker. 

The hours of each are outlined below:

Evening Shift:  Saturday and Sunday 2pm to 10pm (16 hours per week)

Day Shift:Saturday and Sunday 8am to 4pm (16 hours per week) 

The post is subject to enhanced criminal record checks by Access (NI)
