We are currently recruiting volunteers for our Freedom2Choose Programme. Do you have an interest in helping empower young people with additional needs? Do you have a few hours to spare on a Saturday?

If so, we may have the perfect volunteer position for you.

We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers in the age range from teenagers to young adults (especially males) to join our existing team of volunteers. We are recruiting volunteers from across Belfast and surrounding areas to join our organisation based in south Belfast.

It's a very exciting time to join our award-winning team. We have opened a new centre, have extended our team and are enhancing our services.

We work to empower young people with physical disabilities to develop the skills to live independently and reach their potential.

As a volunteer, you will be part of a team that delivers a fun, social and life skills activity programme called Freedom2Choose. This project offers young people with disabilities aged between 16 and 25 a chance to lead fuller more independent lives.

The programme aims to:

  • Increase confidence in peer interactions
  • Reduce social isolation
  • Learn new skills
  • Promote good mental and physical health
  • Have new experiences
  • Feel part of a community

Volunteers will be part of our newly established community at Lilac House (Linked Independent Living and Advice Centre) in south Belfast.

Full support and training are provided. Access NI is essential.
