Volunteering at Refresh Cafe (East Belfast Mission)

Refresh is East Belfast Mission's very vibrant and extremely busy café based in Skainos Square. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner our team will ensure you are served quality food at affordable prices. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service and a warm welcome for everyone. The cafe sources the finest local ingredients to create great tasting food. From homemade scones, light bites and speciality coffee to delicious larger meals, you will not be disappointed.
 
Volunteer Front of House Assistant:
 
Your role will require you will help maintain a high level of customer service during scheduled shifts and planned events.
 
 
Meals on Wheels
 
We deliver hot nutritious meals each day to the housebound who would otherwise be without a substantial meal. This service has grown dramatically in recent years and has experienced demand from agencies involved in the care of the elderly and the disabled, and is a lifeline to the many elderly who live on their own. Our Meals on Wheels service is conducted by staff and volunteers who can sometimes be the only visitors an individual may have in the course of the week.

Meals on Wheels Driver/Runner

Your role will require you to work alongside other refresh staff, volunteers and placements to help maintain a high level of customer service for our meals on wheels service.
 
A full clean driving licence and basis AccessNI is required.
