We are now recruiting a full time Volunteer Team Leader to join our adoption centre in Belfast, on a permanent basis.

Full time - 40 hours per week

£22,977.43pa plus excellent benefits (starting salary is subject to experience)

Cats Protection is the UK’s leading feline welfare charity. We now help around 193,000 cats and kittens through our network of over 250 volunteer-run branches and 36 adoption centres and homing centres.

We are now recruiting a full time Volunteer Team Leader to join our adoption centre in Belfast, on a permanent basis.

The main purpose of this role is to promote and co-ordinate volunteering for the centre. This role will require you to develop contacts internally and externally e.g. with volunteers, employees, and the wider Volunteering Department. The post holder will recruit, train, schedule and support a team of diverse volunteers to enhance the smooth running of the Adoption Centre service in all aspects of its work. Branches are dotted throughout Northern Ireland and this role supports both the Centre and our Branches

Person Specification:

• You will be highly motivated with previous experience of managing a team of volunteers

• Excellent interpersonal, customer service and organisational skills are essential

• Ideally you will have a background of working within an animal welfare environment (desirable)
