Volunteer Creative Activity Co-ordinator Belfast Group

Deafblind UK

Are you a creative, organised and enthusiastic person? Could you use your skills to research and set up group activities and events for our local members?

Are you a creative, organised and enthusiastic person? Could you use your skills to research and set up group activities and events for our local members?

Our members really enjoy getting together having a good chat about all sorts of things over a cup of tea and a biscuit; they also like to invite speakers to come along to the meetings to provide them with helpful advice and information across a wide range of subjects and the group will from time to time arrange a trip out together usually 2-3 social outings each year to places of interest.

How can you help?...

Attending our local groups for a couple of hours once a month, you will be working with the group coordinators, leaders and members, organising fun and interesting events and activities for each meet up.

The activities could range from sourcing a key note speaker to setting up a craft session; organising a group outing to a historical venue or planning a group visit to a show.

You will need to source the equipment/information needed for the activities and assist during the meet ups to ensure the group is run as smoothly as possible for the benefit of our members.

Get creative and inspire our members at their local group meet ups

Our groups are hugely welcoming to any new faces and willing to join in a range of activities – sometimes the more creative the better!!!
