About you:
You’ll have an outgoing personality and the confidence to communicate both on the telephone and face to face. You’ll be confident handling money and completing some administrative tasks such as recording the donations received and banking cash. You’ll have a passion for fundraising and be willing to learn more about the society.
The impact you’ll make:
Fundraising at Alzheimer’s Society is an integral part of the work that we do in the fight against dementia. You’ll engage with the local community about the vital work Alzheimer’s Society does, the strategy we aim to achieve and the opportunities available to support the society’s work. This will help to raise vital funds and maximise their potential within the local community.
What you need to know:
We need to ensure that people living with dementia who benefit from our services are safe. In order for us to do this we interview, check and train our volunteers in on-going roles. If you have accessibility need we’ll make reasonable adjustments to enable you to volunteer.
We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds, communities and experiences. We will make you feel welcome, included and respected because together we are united.
How to apply:
If you have any questions about the role or would like to apply, please contact Rosario Mc Hugh, Volunteering Officer at [email protected] or ring 07872503320
