Vacancies within Autism Outreach Service - County Londonderry, Tyrone and Fermanagh
Positive Futures
Autism Outreach Workers support young people, aged 4 to 18, who are on the autistic spectrum condition, to take part in activities which meet their needs and aspirations. They will plan, coordinate and provide support to the young people they are supporting. Personal Assistants will provide support that has been planned.
Activities include cinema outings, cooking, swimming, arts and crafts and playing sports. We are looking to fill the following posts across different locations:
Autism Outreach Workers x 3
Post 1 - 15 hours/week – supporting young people in Lisnaskea, Trillick and as far as Belleek
Post 2 - 14 hours/week – supporting young people in Strabane, Derry city, Limavady and Dungiven areas
Post 3 – 22 hours/week – supporting young people in Omagh, covering Omagh, Strabane and Fintona areas
Temporary posts to March 2021 (subject to funding)
Hours are covered mainly in the afternoons and evenings during school times and during the day in school holidays
Personal Assistants
Post 1 – supporting young people in Lisnaskea, Trillick and as far as Belleek
