Would you be interested in playing a role in shaping family support in the North Down area?

Do you have approximately 3 hours per month to play a role in shaping family support services in our area?

Home-Start North Down works with families with young children who are experiencing difficulties or suffering stress.

Under normal circumstances,  families are offered support in their own home by volunteers for as long as is necessary to help them attain the outcomes that we are working towards, with a tailored package of support. We also offer a family group on four mornings each week in our premises on High Street in Bangor and creche support twice weekly to support programme delivery.

Our services have been reshaped in light of Covid 19 restrictions and we really appreciate the guidance of our trustees in endorsing our revised practices.

We need to add to our board of trustees, all of whom are provided with full training for their role. In particular if you have finance experience or business planning know how, these skills add great value to a board.

If you would have 2-3 hours per month to help direct the support for local families, please contact Alison from Home-Start North Down on 07710466379.

We would love to have you join our team.
